Laura Geller Makeup Review

Is Laura Geller Makeup Good? My Honest Review After 4 Years (2026)

Is Laura Geller makeup good? It is one of the most-searched questions about the brand, usually from someone who has seen the baked compacts in one too many ads and wants to know whether the makeup is actually that good or whether it is just really good marketing. lol

My short answer: yes, if you want natural-looking makeup that is easy to apply, and especially if you have dry, sensitive, or mature skin. The Baked Balance-n-Brighten foundation has been my everyday foundation since late 2022, and the baked complexion products are some of the easiest makeup I have ever used. It is not the brand for full coverage or bold color, and the foundation shade range is small. More on all of that below.

Laura Geller Beauty has been around since 1997, but somehow, I did not try anything from the brand until late 2022. Considering how long Laura Geller has been part of the beauty industry, I am still surprised that none of the products ever appeared in one of my Ipsy Glam Bags or Boxycharm boxes!

What initially caught my attention was Laura Geller’s baked makeup. The products begin as cream pigments that are baked on terracotta tiles in Italy for 24 hours. This creates powders that feel smoother and creamier than many traditional pressed powders. The brand is also known for easy-to-use makeup designed for mature skin, though you certainly do not need to be over 40 to enjoy the products!

I originally published this review in 2023 after several months of testing, and I refreshed it in 2026. This version is the full brand review: my short answer, the five products I have actually worn, a comparison chart with current prices, who the brand is and is not for, how to apply baked makeup, the mistakes I see most often, and answers to the questions people ask Google about Laura Geller. Let’s dive in!

All product recommendations are independently selected based on my personal experience, testing, and honest opinions. These commissions help support my blog, but they never influence which products I recommend or the opinions I share.

Is Laura Geller Makeup Good? My Short Answer

Yes, with conditions. After four years with the brand, here is my take in one list.

  • It is good if you want your skin to look like your skin. The foundation is light-to-medium coverage with a natural, demi-matte finish and color-correcting swirls that take down redness.
  • It is good if you like makeup that is hard to mess up. Baked powders blend themselves. You swirl, tap, and buff. The Best of the Best palette is the closest thing to a complete face in one compact that I own.
  • It is especially good for dry, sensitive, or mature skin. The foundation carries the National Rosacea Society Seal of Acceptance and a National Psoriasis Foundation seal, and the brand builds almost everything with women over 40 in mind. The Spackle Hydrate primer is the reason powder does not look dry on me.
  • It is not good if you want full coverage from one product. Balance-n-Brighten will not get there no matter how much you build. The brand’s Double Take foundation is made for that, but I have not tested it.
  • It is not good if you are outside nine foundation shades or distinctly cool-toned. The shades also run warm and deep on skin. My rule is one shade lighter than the swatch suggests.
  • It is not good if you love bold, trendy color. The palettes are neutral and warm. That is the point, but it is not for everyone.

If you only read one more section, make it the comparison chart, then the foundation. Everything after that is detail.

My Quick Picks: The Best Laura Geller Products

Here is where I would start. Four of these I have worn for years, and the highlighter is the one from my original review, which is finally back in stock.

  • Best overall and the place to start: Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation. My everyday foundation since 2022. I wrote a separate four-year review of it.
  • Best for dry skin: Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate. The base that keeps baked powder from ever looking powdery.
  • Best for beginners and travel: Best of the Best Baked Face Palette. Eyes, cheeks, bronzer, and highlighter in one compact.
  • Best one-step cheek: Baked Blush-n-Bronze Marbleized 2-in-1. On clearance and selling out as I write this, so read the note in its section.
  • Best subtle highlighter: Baked Natural Glow Highlighter in French Vanilla or Portofino. A low glow with no glitter.
  • Honorable mention I have not tested yet: The Wonder Balm. The cream option I keep seeing recommended for dry skin.

Prices are from laurageller.com on October 13, 2026. Laura Geller runs sales constantly and bundles almost everything on QVC, so treat these as list prices. The “tested” column is the honest part: I only call something a favorite if I have worn it.

What Makes Laura Geller Different?

Laura Geller is a New York makeup artist who launched her brand in 1997, and the brand grew up on QVC, which is still where most of its sets and bundles show up. Two things set it apart from the brands I usually see in subscription boxes.

Baked makeup. The foundation, blushes, bronzers, highlighters, and palette shadows all start as cream pigment that is baked on terracotta tiles in Italy for 24 hours and finished by hand. The result is a powder that behaves like a cream. It melts into skin instead of sitting on top of it, which is why it does not do the chalky, cakey thing most of us expect from powder.

A mature-skin focus that is real, not a tagline. Most brands chase 20-year-olds. Laura Geller’s formulas, shade descriptions, and ads are built for women over 40, with lightweight coverage, buildable color, and hydration first. I am not the target customer on paper, and I still ended up with the foundation as my daily driver, which tells you the formulas work for more than one age group.

Where to buy it. The brand sells on laurageller.com, Ulta, Amazon, and QVC, and since late summer 2026 it is also in Sephora at Kohl’s stores, which is the first place you can swatch the foundation in person. Laura Geller’s site also has a try-before-you-buy option that lets you pick up to four items, pay nothing up front, and send back what does not match. If you are nervous about shades, use it.

Who Is Laura Geller Makeup For?

Mature Skin

This is the question behind most “is Laura Geller good?” searches, and the answer is yes. The baked foundation blends like a cream and does not settle into fine lines the way traditional pressed powder can, the Spackle primers add moisture before makeup, and nothing in the core line is high-shimmer or heavy. Laura Geller herself points to Balance-n-Brighten for women over 40. Moisturizer first and thin layers make the biggest difference at any age.

Dry or Sensitive Skin

The foundation’s rosacea and psoriasis seals do not guarantee your skin will agree with it, but they tell you who the formula was built for. On my skin, Spackle Hydrate under the foundation is the combination that works. Very oily skin may find the Hydrate primer too rich; the original Spackle or the Brighten-n-Blur version would be my suggestion there, though I have only worn Hydrate.

Beginners and Minimalists

If you want a polished face in five minutes with three or four products, this is the brand. The Best of the Best palette plus the foundation and a kabuki brush is a complete routine, and it is the routine I pack for trips.

Humid Climates

I live in a humid state, and the foundation gets a solid ten hours on me with a quick T-zone touch-up. A full day at Epic Universe in summer, with almost no shade, did not break it. The details are in my foundation review.

Who Should Skip It

  • You want full coverage. Balance-n-Brighten is light to medium. Double Take is the brand’s full-coverage option, and I have not tested it.
  • You are paler than Porcelain, deeper than Toffee, or clearly cool-toned. Nine shades is a narrow range in 2026, and the shades run warm.
  • You love bold or cool-toned color. The palettes are warm neutrals.
  • You prefer cream or liquid everything. The Wonder Balm is the brand’s answer to that, and it is on my list to try, but the heart of the brand is still baked powder.

Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation

Best for: Light-to-medium everyday coverage with a natural finish

Before discovering Laura Geller, I had never seriously considered using a baked powder foundation. I usually preferred liquid foundation and assumed a powder would look dry, heavy, or cakey on my skin.

The Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation completely changed my mind.

I have since written a full Laura Geller baked foundation review after four years of wearing it, covering shade matching, how it holds up in humidity, and how it compares to Balance-n-Glow and Double Take.

This foundation provides buildable light-to-medium coverage, which means it helps even out discoloration and soften the appearance of imperfections without completely covering your natural skin. It has a natural finish rather than an overly matte or noticeably luminous one.

What impressed me most was how weightless it felt. I honestly forgot I was wearing foundation. It did not give me the dry, powdery appearance I expected, and I appreciated that I could apply a light layer for an everyday look or build it in areas where I wanted more coverage.

The formula contains ingredients such as jojoba seed oil, green tea extract, vitamin E, and centella asiatica. The foundation has also been accepted by the National Rosacea Society and recognized by the National Psoriasis Foundation, although that does not guarantee that every individual skin type will react the same way.

What I Like

  • It feels lightweight on the skin.
  • The coverage is easy to build.
  • It gives the complexion a natural, even appearance.
  • It does not feel as heavy as many liquid foundations.
  • It is convenient for quick application and touch-ups.

What You Should Know

Shade matching is the most common concern I found while revisiting reviews of this foundation. Some users report that certain shades look darker or warmer once applied than they expected. One independent reviewer found that even the Fair shade appeared deeper on her skin than anticipated.

I would not automatically tell everyone to order one or two shades lighter because the marbleized pigments can look different depending on your undertone. Instead, look closely at the shade descriptions, use Laura Geller’s shade finder, and test the product in natural light before deciding whether the match is right.

This is also not a full-coverage foundation. If you want to completely cover acne, scars, dark spots, or significant discoloration, you may need concealer underneath or a fuller-coverage foundation.

How I Would Apply It

For lighter coverage, use a soft, fluffy brush and buff a small amount over the skin. For additional coverage, use a denser brush and press the product into the areas where you need more help instead of continuously sweeping it around.

Start with less than you think you need. It is much easier to add another layer than to remove too much powder.

Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate

Courtesy from Laura Geller Beauty

Best for: Dry or mature skin that needs additional moisture before makeup

Laura Geller offers several versions of the Spackle primer, but Hydrate remains the best match for my skin.

The primer has a cream-to-gel texture and is designed to create a smoother base while adding moisture. Its current formula includes shea butter, jojoba seed oil, squalane, aloe vera, glycerin, and forms of hyaluronic acid.

I was impressed by how well it prepared my skin for foundation. It helped my makeup apply more evenly and gave my complexion a healthy, hydrated appearance without adding obvious shimmer.

One point from my original review still stands: although Laura Geller describes this as a hydrating primer, I personally prefer applying moisturizer underneath it. A moisturizing primer can support your skincare, but it may not replace a complete moisturizer for everyone.

Laura Geller currently recommends applying Spackle after moisturizer and sunscreen, allowing it to set for approximately one minute, and then continuing with foundation. That order also helps reduce the chance of the products pilling or clumping.

What I Like

  • It helps dry skin feel more comfortable under makeup.
  • It creates a smoother base for foundation.
  • It gives the skin a fresh, slightly dewy appearance.
  • A small amount spreads easily across the face.
  • It pairs especially well with powder foundation.

What You Should Know

This is a richer primer. If you have very oily or acne-prone skin, it may feel like more moisture than you need. The formula also contains shea butter, which some people prefer to avoid when they are prone to clogged pores.

Using too much can also work against you. A thin layer is enough. Applying a heavy coating may cause makeup to move around or feel overly slick.

For dry, normal, or mature skin, however, this remains one of the strongest products in the Laura Geller collection. Both Byrdie and Oprah Daily have also highlighted the primer for its ability to moisturize dry areas while helping makeup sit more evenly on the skin.

The Best of the Best Baked Face Palette

Laura Geller Makeup Review - The Best of the Best Baked Face Palette
Courtesy from Laura Geller Beauty

Best for: Travel, beginners, and simple everyday makeup routines

The Best of the Best Baked Face Palette was the product that officially began my Laura Geller journey.

It remains one of the easiest ways to try several of the brand’s most popular baked formulas without purchasing everything separately. The current palette includes three eyeshadows, two highlighters, one blush, and one bronzer. It also has a built-in mirror and printed application instructions.

My palette became a reliable travel companion during trips to Mexico and Japan because it gave me almost everything I needed in one place. Instead of packing several individual compacts, I had my eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, and highlighter together! The perfect complement was my Laura Geller Retractable Angled Kabuki Brush, which made applying everything while traveling quick and easy. We also featured that brush in our guide to the “11 Best Makeup Brushes and Sponges for a Flawless Finish“!

I loved how the colors create soft, polished looks rather than dramatic or extremely colorful makeup. That is part of what makes the palette so approachable. Everything coordinates well, and you do not have to spend much time figuring out which shades work together.

What I Like

  • It includes products for the eyes and complexion.
  • The neutral shades are easy to combine.
  • It reduces the number of products needed for travel.
  • The baked powders blend easily.
  • It is beginner-friendly without feeling boring.

What You Should Know

This palette will be most useful for someone who likes natural, warm, or neutral makeup. If you primarily wear bold eyeshadow colors or prefer cream products, it may not suit your routine.

The sections are also smaller than buying each product individually. You are paying for convenience and variety rather than receiving several full-sized products.

Even with those limitations, this remains one of my favorite introductions to Laura Geller. Byrdie’s makeup artist reviewer also selected it as one of the brand’s best products, particularly for people who are new to Laura Geller or want a more compact routine.

Baked Blush-n-Bronze Marbleized 2-in-1

Best for: Adding blush, warmth, and soft definition in one step

When I first tried the Baked Blush-n-Bronze Marbleized 2-in-1, it reminded me of one of my favorite blushes from Hourglass.

It creates a soft flush of color while adding some of the warmth you would normally get from bronzer. The marbleized pan combines several tones, allowing you to swirl everything together or concentrate your brush on a particular section of the compact.

Berry Bronze was my favorite shade when I originally tested the product because it created a warm, coral-toned effect on my skin. Laura Geller periodically updates its available shades, so I recommend checking the current shade descriptions rather than relying only on older swatches.

This blush-bronzer combination has impressive color payoff, but it is still easy to blend. I normally apply it with an angled Sigma blush brush, beginning with a small amount and gradually adding more.

The formula contains jojoba seed oil, green tea extract, and centella asiatica. It is intended to provide multidimensional color while remaining lightweight on the skin.

What I Like

  • It combines two complexion steps.
  • The color can be built from soft to more noticeable.
  • It gives the cheeks warmth without requiring a separate bronzer.
  • The texture feels smooth and velvety.
  • It works especially well for quick everyday makeup.

What You Should Know

October 2026 update: Laura Geller has moved the Blush-n-Bronze 2-in-1 to clearance at $14.99, and all four current shades are sold out on laurageller.com as I write this. Amazon still lists it. If it is gone by the time you read this, the closest current option is the Baked Blush-n-Brighten Marbleized Blush ($32, 14 shades), which is the same baked blush formula without the bronzer swirl. It is the blush pan in my Best of the Best palette, in Pink Buttercream, so I can vouch for the formula even though I have not bought the full-size compact.

Because each compact has a marbleized pattern, the balance of blush and bronzer can vary slightly. One application may pick up more pink, while another may pick up more bronze.

It is also pigmented, so use a light hand at first. Tap excess product from your brush before placing it on the cheeks, especially when trying a new shade.

I would recommend this most strongly to someone who enjoys warm, softly sculpted cheeks and wants to reduce the number of products used in their routine.

Baked Natural Glow Highlighter in French Vanilla and Portofino

Best for: A soft, natural-looking glow without chunky glitter

When I originally wrote this article, one of my favorite Laura Geller products was the Baked Natural Glow Highlighter. I loved that it was not overly metallic or intense. Instead, it added a subtle radiance that looked beautiful during the day and was easy to wear in more professional settings.

For a while the two original shades disappeared from laurageller.com, and I pointed readers to the marbleized Prosecco highlighter instead. Good news: as of October 2026 the Baked Natural Glow Highlighter is back in both French Vanilla and Portofino at $24, so my original recommendation stands.

French Vanilla is the lighter, brighter shade and Portofino adds more warmth. They are also the two highlighter pans in the Best of the Best palette, so if you own the palette you already know how this formula looks on you. Like the rest of the baked line, it is baked for 24 hours and hand-finished in Italy, and it is built for subtle radiance without visible pieces of glitter.

Prosecco, which blends both tones in one marbleized compact, is now on clearance at $12.99. I have not tested it, but if you cannot decide between the two shades, it is an inexpensive way to get both in one pan while it lasts.

What I Like

  • It adds radiance without glitter or a metallic sheen.
  • French Vanilla brightens and Portofino warms, so there is a shade for most skin tones.
  • It works on the cheekbones, the brow bone, the inner corners of the eyes, and the Cupid’s bow.
  • It is subtle enough for work and easy to build for evenings.
  • It is the same formula as the two highlighter pans in the Best of the Best palette.

What You Should Know

This is a low glow by design. If you want a highlighter that shows up from across the room, this is not it, and you will be happier with something more metallic. The Prosecco version appears to create a slightly more noticeable glow than French Vanilla, based on reviews, so anyone who prefers an almost invisible highlight should start with the single shades.

How I Apply It

Use a small highlighting brush and lightly sweep the powder across the tops of the cheekbones. You can also apply a smaller amount beneath the eyebrows, along the Cupid’s bow, and in the inner corners of the eyes.

Start with one thin layer and add more only where you want additional brightness. Because it is baked powder, it layers over the foundation without disturbing it.

Honorable Mention: The Wonder Balm

Laura Geller Makeup Review - The Wonder Balm
Courtesy from Laura Gellar

One newer product that deserves an honorable mention and is on my radar is The Wonder Balm.

This balmy cheek formula adds sheer color, hydration, and glow. Unlike Laura Geller’s traditional baked powders, Wonder Balm has a creamier, more moisturizing texture.

An independent beauty writer who tested the formula praised its hydrating feel, natural glow, and ability to remain comfortable without feeling overly sticky. She also preferred the youthful finish of the balms over traditional powder blush and highlighter.

That makes Wonder Balm especially interesting for people with very dry skin or anyone who has moved away from powder complexion products.

I am not replacing one of my personally tested favorites with it yet because I believe products should be tested before being added to a definitive “best” list. However, it is currently one of the Laura Geller products I would be most interested in trying next.

Are Laura Geller Products Worth It?

Based on the products I have tried, Laura Geller is worth exploring if you prefer natural-looking makeup that is easy to apply and does not feel excessively heavy.

The brand is particularly strong in complexion products. The Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation remains the standout, while the Spackle Hydrate Primer is a strong companion for dry skin. The baked blushes, highlighters, and palettes are also excellent for people who want color that can be gradually built rather than immediately looking intense.

However, not every product will be right for every person. The foundation requires careful shade matching, the hydrating primer may be too rich for oily skin, and the highlighter is intentionally subtle.

Those are not necessarily flaws, but they are important details to understand before buying.

Which Laura Geller Product Should You Try First?

For most people, I would begin with the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation because it best represents what makes Laura Geller different from many other makeup brands.

If you are nervous about choosing a foundation shade or want to sample several formulas at once, the Best of the Best Baked Face Palette is a less intimidating introduction.

For dry skin, I would start with the Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate. For someone who already has a foundation they love, the Baked Blush-n-Bronze is probably the easiest product to add to an existing routine.

How to Apply Laura Geller Makeup

Baked makeup has a small learning curve, about a week in my experience, and then it is the fastest routine I own. Here is the order I use on a normal morning. The full step-by-step for the foundation, with brush tips, is in my Laura Geller baked foundation review.

  1. Moisturizer first, and let it sink in. Powder on dry skin looks like powder on dry skin.
  2. A thin layer of Spackle Hydrate. Pea-sized, pressed in, then wait about a minute. Too much and your foundation will slide.
  3. Swirl, tap, buff. Swirl the kabuki across the whole foundation compact so you pick up every marbleized tone, tap the excess off, and buff from the center of your face outward for light coverage.
  4. Press for more coverage. Where you need more, retract the kabuki so the bristles are shorter and firmer and press the powder in instead of sweeping it.
  5. Cheeks. Swirl an angled blush brush through the Blush-n-Bronze or the palette blush, tap off the excess, and build in two light passes.
  6. Highlighter. A small brush, one thin layer on the cheekbones, then the inner corners and brow bone if you want more.
  7. Mist if anything looks powdery. A hydrating mist or setting spray takes away any hint of powder.
  8. Clean your brushes. Baked powder builds up fast and a dirty kabuki applies patchy. My guide to cleaning makeup brushes and sponges covers how often.

Common Laura Geller Mistakes

Ordering Your Usual Foundation Shade

The shades read warmer and deeper on skin than they look in the pan. I wear Fair, one step lighter than the swatch suggested, and it has been right every time. One shade lighter, not two. Use the shade finder on Laura Geller’s site, read the undertone description, and use try-before-you-buy or the testers at Sephora in Kohl’s if you can.

Sweeping Instead of Pressing

Sweeping baked powder around your face gives you a sheer, uneven layer and uses twice the product. Buff for light coverage, press where you need more, and build in thin layers.

Using Too Much Spackle

Spackle is rich, and a thick layer makes everything on top of it move. A thin layer, pressed in and given a minute to set, is enough. If you have oily skin, Hydrate may be more moisture than you need.

Expecting Full Coverage

Balance-n-Brighten evens out your skin and softens imperfections. It does not erase them, and building it heavier only makes it look like powder. Use concealer underneath, or look at Double Take, the brand’s full-coverage baked foundation, which I have not tried.

Buying the Wrong Baked Foundation

Laura Geller makes three baked foundations with similar names and the same price. Balance-n-Brighten is the natural, color-correcting one I wear. Balance-n-Glow adds pearl for a dewier finish. Double Take is matte and full coverage. I compared all three in my foundation review.

Applying Baked Powder With a Sponge

Balance-n-Brighten and the other baked powders want a brush. A sponge drags them, picks up too little, and leaves patches. The retractable kabuki is the brush the brand designed for them, and it is the one I use. The one exception is Double Take, which is sold with its own sponge and is meant to be pressed on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Laura Geller makeup good for mature skin?

Many Laura Geller products are specifically created and marketed with mature skin in mind. The formulas generally focus on lightweight coverage, buildable color, hydration, and natural-looking finishes. However, results still depend on your skin type, preparation, application, and the specific product you select.

Is Baked Balance-n-Brighten a full-coverage foundation?

No. It provides buildable light-to-medium coverage. It can even out the complexion and soften the appearance of imperfections, but it is not designed to completely conceal everything.

Does Laura Geller foundation settle into wrinkles?

I did not find the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation cakey or heavy during my testing. Applying moisturizer, using a small amount of primer, and building the foundation in thin layers can help prevent powder from collecting around fine lines.

Do you need a primer with Laura Geller Baked Foundation?

Primer is not mandatory, but it may help the foundation apply more evenly and last longer. People with dry skin may especially benefit from using moisturizer and a hydrating primer before applying baked foundation.

Is Laura Geller makeup only for women over 40?

No. Although the brand places a strong emphasis on representing and creating makeup for women over 40, the products can be used by adults of any age who enjoy natural, approachable makeup.

Is Laura Geller makeup really that good, or is it overhyped?

For complexion products, the hype is earned. The baked foundation, the Spackle primers, and the blushes do exactly what the ads say, and they do it with less effort than most of what I own. Where I think the brand is overhyped is coverage. If you go in expecting a full-coverage miracle from a powder, you will be disappointed. Go in expecting your skin on a good day and you will understand the fuss.

Do dermatologists recommend Laura Geller makeup?

I cannot speak for dermatologists, but the Baked Balance-n-Brighten foundation carries the National Rosacea Society Seal of Acceptance and a seal from the National Psoriasis Foundation, and the brand describes it as dermatologist-approved. Those seals mean the formula was reviewed with those conditions in mind, not that every dermatologist recommends it. If your skin is reactive, patch test first and ask your own dermatologist.

Do celebrities really use Laura Geller?

The brand runs celebrity campaigns from time to time, but its real audience is everyday women over 40, and that is who you see in most of its marketing. I would not buy makeup because of who is in the ad. Buy it because the baked formula suits your skin, and read the shade section first.

What is the number one rated foundation for mature skin?

There is no single answer, but Laura Geller’s Baked Balance-n-Brighten is on nearly every mature-skin foundation list I have read, and it won QVC’s Customer Choice award for best powder foundation in 2024. My take: it is the best powder foundation I have worn. If you prefer liquid, you will want to compare it against a hydrating liquid foundation rather than another powder.

Where is Laura Geller makeup sold?

Laura Geller sells on its own site, Ulta, Amazon, and QVC, and since late summer 2026 in Sephora at Kohl’s stores. Sephora at Kohl’s is the only place with testers. Laura Geller’s site has the full shade range plus the try-before-you-buy program, and Amazon is often a few dollars cheaper.

Final Thoughts on Laura Geller Makeup

So, is Laura Geller makeup good? For me, yes, and more than I expected when I ordered that first palette in 2022. The Baked Balance-n-Brighten foundation, the Spackle Hydrate primer, the Best of the Best palette, and the Blush-n-Bronze have all held up for years, and the Baked Natural Glow Highlighter I loved in the original review is back in both shades.

Laura Geller is not a brand I would recommend because every product is trendy or dramatic. I recommend it because the best formulas make makeup feel simple. They blend easily, create natural-looking results, and make it possible to complete a polished routine without using an overwhelming number of products.

Start with the foundation if you want to understand the brand, and read my four-year Baked Balance-n-Brighten review before you pick a shade. Start with the palette if you want a lower-stakes introduction. And if you want more honest reviews like this one, the rest of my makeup reviews are here.
